I’ve always loved working with computers. When I was a kid, it fascinated me that they could be used to anything from playing a simple game to solving complex problems and I was mostly using the PCs in the school library. As I got older and started working, I became the unofficial office IT guy when something needed to be fixed quickly and IT wasn’t available right away. Eventually, I went back to school and earned an associate’s, bachelor’s and even a master’s degree and got a handful of certifications along the way for good measure.
My approach to IT is simple. Everyone has their own skill set and their own expertise. I’m not a doctor. I’m not a mechanic. I fix computers and I don’t think less of anyone for not “being good with computers” because I’m not a doctor or a mechanic.
Technology should exist to help and empower people not frustrate them. I’m here to take some of that frustration away.
Officially, not counting my time as the unofficial office IT guy, I’ve been in IT since 2008. I’ve worked with residential customers, small business owners and large companies.
My mission is to help people make the most of technology so they can focus on what matters most to them, whether it’s growing their business or playing with their kids, they should be doing that and not wondering why the printer is jammed or where that important file went.
